Dr. Goldstein is an important voice in current debates about science and philosophy. A recipient of the MacArthur Genius Award and the National Humanities Medal awarded by President Barack Obama, she is an acclaimed novelist and philosopher who bridges the humanities, arts, and sciences. She earned her doctorate at Princeton and has taught at universities around the world.

Seven of Dr. Goldstein’s ten books are works of fiction, including her very successful debut novel, The Mind-Body Problem, and 36 Arguments for the Existence of God: A Work of Fiction. Two are biographies of philosophers: Incompleteness: The Proof and Paradox of Kurt Gödel and Betraying Spinoza: The Renegade Jew Who Gave Us Modernity. Dr. Goldstein’s latest book is Plato at the Googleplex: Why Philosophy Won’t Go Away.
